How to Share a Bathroom With Your Spouse

July 31st, 2011

There are plenty of arguments to be had in a marriage. Sharing the bathroom can cause problems. If you and your spouse are having problems in this regard, then keep reading to learn a few tips on dealing with them.

Both men and women want to look as good as possible. It’s very common for women to spend much more time in the bathroom than their male counterparts. After they’ve finished making themselves look better, women should keep their husbands in mind.

Women are advised not to leave all of their brushes, combs, and makeup accessories lying all over the place. These accessories will only be in your mate’s way whenever it’s his turn to use the bathroom. Men shouldn’t leave all their hair in the sink and on the counter after they have finished shaving.

Keeping the toilet clean is vital. No one wants to walk into the bathroom and use a dirty toilet. Men especially have a difficult time keeping the toilet clean if they don’t have good aim. If urine ends up on the outside of the toilet, you should get it up immediately. It will start to smell after it dries in a few days.

It’s also common for married couples to argue about the guy leaving the seat up. Therefore, guys should try their best to leave the seat down.

All humans have to have a bowel movement every so often. Most people will have one every day or every other day. It’s also a fact that it will smell in the bathroom after you’re done. You should be considerate and turn the fan on and spray air freshener when you finish up.

It can be difficult sharing the facilities in the morning when you’re both trying to get ready for work at the same time. If you’re having trouble with this, then you may need to sit down and make up a schedule. Both of you need to share especially if you only have one bathroom in the whole house.

It’s best to avoid arguing over such a petty argument. You’ll find that it’s hard enough as it is to keep a marriage going strong. If for some reason you can’t seem to work things out, consider talking to a marriage counselor. Don’t ask does marriage counseling work. It can work to solve many common problems in a relationship.Doc No.lkhjsdklsd-ssj

Because of his or her condition, your spouse likely won’t be able to help you out a lot around the house. Eventually, you’ll probably start feeling all alone with the work and start to resent it. Some of the work can be done by a hired housekeeper. If the housekeeper cleaned the house once or twice a week, it would certainly help you out a lot.

Your partner will need all the support he or she can get while living in chronic pain. Since you both made a vow on your wedding day, then you need to honor it. Stay through thick and thin.

People commonly develop these conditions after they get married. It’s always vital that you keep in mind the things that brought you together in the first place. You’ll be able to make it through more difficult times if you do.

Many people living in this situation have to spend all their time taking care of the kids and the spouse. It’s important that you still take care of yourself though. Don’t neglect to do stuff you like to do.

You should also make sure that you keep any friends that you have. Thanks to everything that’s going on, you may have a hard time finding time to spend with them though. But, having friends will give you people to talk to in your time of need.

It’s also important that you be aware that there are groups out there to help you deal with the situation. You’ll find that the members will know exactly what you’re going through, so you’ll have plenty of support.

There are few better ways to deal with your situation than joining one of these groups. However, one good option is talking to a marriage counselor. Do You and Your Partner Have Different Religious Beliefs?

July 29th, 2011

It’s very common nowadays to see two people of different religious backgrounds getting married. However, these religious differences can cause various problems over the course of the marriage. Keep reading if you’re interested in picking up a few tips on avoiding them.

Every religion has certain important differences. Various aspects can be different including traditions, diet, and parenting. These differences need to be sorted out by you and your partner.

There are plenty of common themes between religions besides their differences. It’s best that you and your partner identify this common ground and build on it. You’ll find that this will help to strengthen your marriage dramatically.

Each partner also needs to respect the other’s beliefs. You want everyone to respect your religion although they may not agree with it. Both partners need to keep this in mind.

It’s best to discuss things as respectfully as possible. It’s best that you avoid trying to convert your spouse to your religion. They will likely respect your views better if you respect theirs.

The two of you probably won’t be able to go to the same church, which is one of the drawbacks of this situation. This can cause problems on days of worship. So the family isn’t driven apart on these days, it’s best that you two make a schedule to spend time with each other.

It can also be difficult bringing children into this situation. It’s common for one of the parents to want the child to adopt his or her religion. Both parents s hould feel free to share their religious views with the child. Just make sure that you don’t force the views on them. When they get older, they will be able to make their own decisions.

Holidays can also be a problem, especially if certain holidays aren’t observed by one of the religions. You should sit down and discuss with your partner how you will handle these occasions. It’s best that you find some way to be inclusive even if he or she doesn’t observe them.

Religion obviously wasn’t the reason you got together in the first place. Instead, you two fell in love in spite of your religious differences. As mentioned, these differences can cause stumbling blocks in your marriage. But it shouldn’t be anything a marriage counselor couldn’t help you work through. Doc No.lkhjsdklsd-ssj

Lack of trust is another common problem in marriages. The most common cause of mistrust in marriages is cheating. If you keep breaking your promises to do something, then your partner will also stop trusting you.

Children usually follow soon after couples get married. However, children can bring an additional amount of stress to a marriage. Even stronger couples experience various problems once children are in the picture. Unfortunately, you won’t have a guidebook to follow to help you raise your child to the best of your ability.

Virtually everyone’s schedule is hectic nowadays. Busy schedules can also cause problems in your marriage. You may not have enough time to eat or sleep properly. You and your spouse also may not have enough time to spend with each other. Don’t make the mistake of not keeping your partner high on your priority list.

Are Chores Causing a Rift in Your Marriage?

July 25th, 2011

Most people work hard everyday, then have to come hom and take care of the kids as well as chores. This routine can get very taxing after awhile, especially if you feel like you’re doing everything yourself.

When you’re married, you form a team that’s supposed to accomplish most things together. Resentment can quickly build up when one person feels the other isn’t doing their share of the work. Keep reading to pick up a few tips to prevent this from occuring.

Household chores are everyone’s responsibility, something that both you and your partner need to realize. Everyone should share all the responsibilities equally.

You two need to convene and make up a list of the most common household chores that need to be done regularly. You should assign each chore to one person so no one ends up feeling like he or she is doing all of the work.

You don’t need to follow this list strictly however. Sometimes, schedules can become more or less hectic than normal. If you’ll have a lot more free time than usual, you should try to do a little bit more chores since you’re not so busy. Your partner would definitely appreciate the helping hand.

You shouldn’t expect your partner to do all of the chores perfectly though. You shouldn’t complain if you find something you don’t like. You should appreciate how much effort your partner put into doing the chores.

If both of you are seriously busy, then neither of you may have much time to do many chores around the house. If that’s the case, then you should consider hiring a housekeeper to come in and do the cleaning once or twice each week. This would certainly help keep things from getting out of hand.

Whatever you do, it’s best that the two of you not argue over the list of chores to do around the house. If something isn’t done on time, it’s also best not to nag the other person about it. You don’t want to experience any unncessary arguments.

Over the course of your marriage, you’ll have plenty of other important things to argue about. Hiring the services of a marriage counselor is a good idea if you can’t seem to work out your problems yourselves.Doc No.lkhjsdklsd-ssj

Make It Work With These Save Marriage Tips

July 18th, 2011

Do you think your marriage is a bit shaky? Perhaps you just want to spice things up in your relationship? Then it is about time that you learn the secrets of a happy marriage through the tips that I have presented in this article.

You must first understand that in any kind of relationship, and especially with marriages, you need to exert a great deal of effort just to make it survive in case it is starting to go shaky. You cannot afford to just sit there and expect for something great to happen because what you are just doing is waiting for a disaster to occur. You need to do something and to do it right now. Do not wait for tomorrow or you will have nothing to hold on to by that time.

So to help you with your problem, here are some of the top save marriage tips that you can try.

Do not just work all day and all week, you must allot some time for your spouse. Do not be a workaholic because while you maybe earning a great deal of money that way, you may not be earning the affection of your partner. Eventually you risk losing it all. You can always find another job but it is not an easy thing to find another great spouse.

Giving gifts is always a romantic thing between a husband and a wife, the key here is to know what kind of gift would be perfect for your spouse, something he or she truly wants or needs. Does she love dogs? Maybe you can give her a new puppy to take care of. Does he love to play video games? Give him the latest video game that he has been talking about these past few days or weeks. And keep in mind that your gifts need not be costly to be appreciated.

Another good marriage help tip is to always stay as healthy as possible. Why? Because when you are healthy then you are in the perfect condition to do the things that the two of you love to do. It can be something as mundane as shopping or something more sporty like jogging. When it is a physical thing that you two love to perform then staying healthy is definitely a priority.

Always have a listening ear. Now why did I say listening ear? Because we can hear the words that the other person might be saying but that does not mean we are listening attentively. Listening has that connotation that we are paying attention to what we are hearing. And that listening part is what we should always be doing when our spouse is trying to tell us something. Otherwise you can just imagine the many fights you two would be engaged in just because you were not paying attention to what he or she is saying.

So there you have it. When it comes to knowing how to save a marriage then these are the tips that you should take a closer look into. Just always remember that for your marriage to become a success, the two of you need to work together to keep the romance burning bright.

The Truth About Joint Custody

July 15th, 2011

In many divorces, child custody is one of the top priorities as well as the greatest bone of contention. Parents still love their children even if they get a divorce. Once we become used to their presence in our everyday lives, it can be difficult living without them. In the Victorian era and before, while wives and children were both considered property of the husband, there was never any question of child custody; however, the pendulum swung in favor of the mother. Today, there is a movement towards joint custody since it’s more fair for both parties.

Both parents get to spend time with their children with joint custody. This time does not need to be split evenly, and the split is usually geared towards more time with the mother, but it gives visitation rights to each parent.

The couple can decide between themselves to have a joint custody arrangement, or the courts can order one. Usually the court will designate one parent as primary residence for the child and the other as secondary. In a few cases, the father is deemed to be the primary parent, but it’s usually the mother.

The couple may be able to work out a visitation schedule on their own or a judge can come up with one. This schedule usually has the secondary parent receiving visitation rights every other weekend and rotating holidays. Parents will need to be assigned holidays based on even and odd-numbered years. In even numbered years, for example, the father may get Thanksgiving with the child. That means that in the odd numbered years, the mother will have the child for Thanksgiving. For other major holidays, it would be the same situation.

It may also be possible for the judge to decide each parent gets to spend an equal amount of time with the child. The child would spend one week with each parent. If the parent’s homes are close enough to each other, this can be a great solution. In this type of arrangement, both parents are responsible to see that the children is taken to appointments while he or she has visitation. The child will need to be provided with food and clothing while staying with the parent.Doc No.azlcssaeh-sdgfhkl
